Seobongsa Valley Village Managed Recreation Area

Seobongsa Valley Village Managed Recreation Area is a village-managed recreation area located in Seo-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do. The valley that flows from the southern foot of Eungbongsan Mountain through Sinjang-dong and Jijang-dong and passes in front of Seobongsa Temple is Seobongsa Valley. The blue water winding between bizarre rocks and strange stones, the dense forest, and the majestic rock walls create a spectacular view. Seobongsa Valley offers both a cozy and warm feeling and coolness at the same time, and the sunlight pouring through the shade of the pine grove is very picturesque. Small valleys are located here and there in the surrounding area, making it an ideal family travel destination with places to enjoy camping using tents and accommodation facilities. A hiking trail has been built on a low mountain of about 200-300 meters where many pine trees grow, allowing visitors to enjoy both hiking and water play, and since pine trees are abundant along the entire hiking trail, visitors can also enjoy forest bathing.
