Daejung Sikdang

The three-story building built with red bricks on the roadside catches the eye even from a distance, and Daejung Sikdang is located on the first floor of that building. It is a place you might stop by on your way to Sangju Beach within Hallyeohaesang National Park. Unlike large and flashy city restaurants, the modest and simple interior gives a feeling of hometown that matches the owner's comfortable smile. <br />When you boil and eat the spicy blowfish stew served with five or six neat side dishes, the rich seasoning and chewy texture of the blowfish will make you finish a bowl of rice in no time. The braised anglerfish and octopus hot pot are also recommended.
