Gangneung Art Center

Gangneung Art Center is a complex cultural space established in 1993 as the Gangneung Culture and Arts Center, designed to create new value. Aiming to expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment, it has grown into a cultural space for citizens through various performances, exhibitions, and arts education programs. It houses two performance halls and three exhibition rooms. Various flowers and plants are planted both outside and inside the building, making it a pleasant place to explore. Visitors, including children and exam takers, can enjoy direct art appreciation, hands-on experiences, special art lectures, and stage tours alongside performances and exhibitions with their families. It also operates an arts education program called the Saturday Art Tasting Group.
