Inje Haneul Yeoul Sochi Village

Inje Haneul Yeoul Sochi Village is a small village located in Nammyeon, Inje-gun. Surrounded by mountains on all sides and featuring a high hill pass, the village is called Sochi-ri because it looks like a cauldron (sot) when viewed from the hilltop. With mountains and streams harmonizing, the natural scenery is excellent and the village is clean, making it a great place for families to visit and rest. The experience school has facilities for about 80 people to hold retreats and similar events. Located along National Route 44, it is a village with excellent accessibility, reachable from Seoul within 2 hours. As a representative model village of Gangwon-do's New Rural Village Construction Movement, it is equipped with infrastructure and various programs for rural experiences and educational trips. Major experience activities include wild herb gathering and Wonmakgol trekking in spring; catching freshwater fish, digging potatoes, and picking corn in summer; picking pine mushrooms, autumn mountain trekking, and walking oxygen trails in fall; and sledding and traditional games in winter. Additionally, depending on the season, visitors can enjoy Sochi craft workshops, pottery experiences, wildflower experiences at the wildflower experience center, pressed flower experiences, making meju (soybean blocks), making soy sauce, and making surichwi tteok (rice cake) by pounding.
