Bangadari Mineral Spring is a carbonated spring discovered during the reign of King Sukjong of the Joseon Dynasty, and was designated as one of Korea's famous waters in June 1987. The spring water contains over 30 types of minerals, including carbonic acid and iron. In particular, the high iron content is said to be effective for gastrointestinal diseases, skin diseases, neuralgia, and anemia.
