Gariwangsan Village is a village adjacent to Yongtan-ri and Hoedong-ri in Jeongseon-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, located 12km west of Jeongseon-eup along National Route 42. To the north is Gariwangsan Mountain, Byeokparyeong blocks the west, and Cheongoksan Mountain spreads widely to the south. In between, clear water flows from Malmok to Byeoktan along the valley, stretching over 20km. This Hoedong Valley is famous as a summer resort, with many cherry salmon and catfish inhabiting the area. The village contributes to increasing income for nearby farms by cultivating pollution-free soybeans, producing sauces using only domestic soybeans, and selling them through experiential events. It is an eco-friendly agricultural village that grows crops such as potatoes, waxy corn, perilla, wild greens, pumpkins, and tomatoes using compost made from wood chippers.
