Namnoil Riverside Recreation Area

Namnoil Riverside Recreation Area is a free open-field campsite located in Namnoil-ri, Nammyeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do. It is the closest car camping spot from Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and is a vast recreation area with clean, pristine natural surroundings, ideal for fishing, summer water play, and camping. Following the vehicle access road below Gojuam Bridge, you will find flat land divided into a gravel field and a sand field based on the bridge, allowing you to choose according to your preference for camping. In summer when water levels rise, the area under the wide bridge is perfect for water play, and as it is managed by Hongcheon-gun, life jackets are provided free of charge and safety guards are stationed. In winter, you can enjoy sledding on the ice, making it a great place for leisure activities regardless of the season.
