Gojinha House

Gojinha House is located in Nammyeon-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do. It is situated with mountains behind it like a folding screen, and exhibits the folk house style of the Yeongseo and central regions. The floor plan of the house consists of an inner house (anchae) and a sarangchae (guest quarters) that are attached to each other in a 'ㄷ' shape, with a barn building arranged in a straight line, forming a courtyard-style yard. Located in Nammyeon-myeon, Yeongwol, past Wongol Bridge and through Dodong Village and Wongol Village, Gojinha House has a green mountain ridge behind it and fields in front, with the sarangchae facing the village road. The roof of the sarangchae is a hip-and-gable roof (palgakjibung) with a slightly low pitch, giving a calm yet lively feel that harmonizes well with the surrounding mountain scenery.
