Seogwangsa Temple

This is a temple filled with the Buddha's compassion and radiant light. It has a spacious parking lot and well-equipped rest areas. As a temple set amidst beautiful natural scenery, it is a good place to take a walk around the temple grounds and the surrounding area. With a variety of forest tree species and seasonal scenery, you can fully experience the charm of Gangwon-do here. Clear and clean water flows through the center along large and small valleys. The fresh air and the sound of babbling water make our minds reverent. After touring the temple, it is also good to visit Taebaek's representative tourist attractions. There are various attractions that can capture children's interest, such as the Coal Museum, 365 Safe Town, and the Paleozoic Natural History Museum.
