Late Park Jeong-ryeol Memorial Park

Late Park Jeong-ryeol Memorial Park was established to commemorate the late Park Jeong-ryeol, who sacrificed her life to save her young daughter while returning to her parents' home in bitter cold. The Hongcheon-gun Women's Association erected a memorial stone with a eulogy, and the park features a statue of the late lady along with various trees, creating a cozy park. It is a place to honor the great maternal love of all mothers. March 12, the date of her death, is designated as the memorial day, and a memorial ceremony is held every year.
