Oeongchi Village is located 1.5km north of Daepo Port, the most widely known to outsiders in Sokcho-si, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The village, where peaks coming east from Seoraksan Mountain via Dalmabong, Jubongsan, and Cheongdaesan gently embrace the harbor, began to be developed as a tourist destination in the 1980s, but it remains a quiet and cozy seaside village untouched by human hands.
