Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Coal Mining Culture Village

This is a theme-based cultural space that reexamines the lives of coal miners and the coal mining village of the past, when coal was a representative energy source, through the 'Trace of the Yeongwol Macha-ri Coal Mining Village.' It was created to provide a broad understanding of coal, once called black gold, and to allow visitors to experience the lives of coal miners who played a key role as industrial workers. It is a complex experience space that offers a sense of nostalgia and inspiration to older generations, and an understanding of coal mining culture and unique fun to younger generations.
