Yeongwol Donggang Eco Park

The Donggang Ecological Information Center is an educational center that recognizes the importance of the Donggang ecological resources, preserves the excellent biological resources of the Donggang through nature learning, and protects the ecological and cultural vitality. The Donggang Ecological Information Center has exhibition halls on the topography and geology of the Donggang, the sounds of the Donggang, fish, and birds, as well as a 3D virtual rafting experience facility.

The Insect Industry Promotion Support Center is an experience hall that recreates ecological environments that are not easily seen in their natural state. It is an insect ecology education center where visitors can easily approach and understand insects inhabiting the Donggang through audiovisual education and direct observation of their growth environments, through the restoration and propagation of insect resources. It is divided into an insect ecology specimen room, a variety of insect-themed special exhibition rooms, an insect experience room where visitors can learn about the father of insects, Fabre, a vivarium where visitors can observe live insects that actually live in the Donggang, and an insect theme exploration room viewed in 4D.
