Kwangwoon University Donghae Culture and Arts Center Ice Rink was completed in 1997 as the first international standard (60m x 30m) ice rink at a domestic university for the development of winter sports in the northern region of Seoul, and opened to the public in 1998. It is used for recreational sports and health promotion of university members and local residents, as well as for discovering future winter sports talents. To provide many people with opportunities to learn winter sports, various lessons such as daily lessons, private lessons, and group lessons are operated. It also has facilities such as a polishing room, spectator seats, locker rooms, exhibition rooms, and convenience facilities including a store and cafe.
