Cheonggyecheon Bicycle Path

This is a newly renovated bicycle path along the cool waterway of Seoul's Cheonggyecheon. It runs from Yongdap-dong to Cheonggye Plaza. The path is gently paved for cyclists, making it ideal for family rides. The Cheonggyecheon Bicycle Path is especially attractive as it offers a constantly changing variety of scenery. Starting with Dongdaemun Fashion Mall, which is no exaggeration to call the center of K-fashion, the path passes by the used bookstore street that long served as a treasure trove of knowledge for impoverished intellectuals and university students, restored shanties that give a glimpse of Cheonggyecheon's past, and Sewoon Sangga, Korea's first mixed-use residential-commercial building and the country's only comprehensive home appliance mall that enjoyed a boom, all adding sights in sequence as you cycle.
