Hwaak Valley

Located at the end of Hwaak-ri Village, on the right side of Mokdong Samgeori (three-way intersection) in Buk-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, which you encounter while heading to Hwaeaksan Mountain, Hwaak Valley is a valley where the number of water play travelers increases from June to August and where you can enjoy biking up. With good mountain scenery and a beautiful valley, this place has recently been renovated by Gapyeong-gun, with the installation of a water play safety worker shelter, life jacket rental station, disaster management CCTV, and evacuation broadcast speakers. The previously overgrown entrance road with grass and trees has been improved, making it accessible for anyone. The life jacket rental station operates temporarily during the summer season, and areas with a history of past accidents are designated as dangerous water play zones, so caution is required for safety.
