Located in Bon-dong, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, the Choi Yong-shin Memorial Hall is a public museum established in November 2007 to honor Choi Yong-shin, a female independence activist who dedicated her life to the rural enlightenment movement during the Japanese colonial period and instilled patriotism through educational activities. It is designated as a patriotic facility by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. The memorial hall was built on the site of the Saemgol Training Center, which Choi Yong-shin established together with the villagers of Saemgol Village. The exhibition on the ground floor is themed to eternally remember the life and spirit of Choi Yong-shin. Additionally, the tomb of Choi Yong-shin is located within the Songnisu Park where the memorial hall is situated.
