Ansan Cultural Center

Ansan Cultural Center is a local cultural and arts promotion institution located in Sadong, Sangnok-gu, Ansan-si. Ansan Cultural Center became a national model cultural center and received approval for establishment as a special corporation under the Local Cultural Center Promotion Act, leading not only the discovery of simple historical culture but also practical succession and education. Through a project to collect local relics that began in 1991, it has gathered over 2,000 artifacts, and based on this, established the Local History Museum on the first floor of the main building, allowing many citizens to see Ansan's history at a glance. The outdoor exhibition area reproduces and displays traditional thatched houses, stone mills, and water mills from the Ansan region, providing a space for rest, a traditional culture experience area for children, and a cultural space that satisfies cultural nostalgia for adults.
