Why travelers stop here
Pocheon Valley Camping Site is a campsite located in Yaksa Valley, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is a renovated version of the former Idong Amusement Park. This place is ideal for spending the hot summer at Yaksa Valley, which is right next to the campsite. Unlike typical valleys, the ground here is made of sand and gravel rather than soil, so even when wading through the water, it remains clear without stirring up mud. Each grain of sand in the water is as transparent as if reflected in a mirror. Here, you can enjoy water play and catch fish using a fishbowl or mini fishing rod. Another advantage of the valley is that, despite being a mountain valley, there are very few mosquitoes. Besides the valley, there are other ways to escape the heat. Shade from trees is scattered throughout, providing cool spots to rest away from the scorching sun. Another benefit of this place is that the sites are spacious and arranged in a single row, so they do not face other sites, allowing for privacy.
