Seongnam Jungang Public Market

Seongnam Jungang Market is a traditional market that naturally formed around 1970 before the establishment of Seongnam City. Originally, two traditional markets were adjacent to each other, but after suffering two fires, it was reborn as a modern building with a scale of 3,519.4㎡, from basement 1 to ground 7 floors, through a traditional market modernization project. It is equipped with complex functions such as stores, refrigerated and frozen warehouses, parking lots, and various convenience facilities. Notably, parking spaces are secured from the 3rd to the 8th floor, making it uncongested. On the 1st floor, there are vegetable, meat, side dish, dried fish, snack, restaurant, and interior shops; on the 2nd floor, there are restaurant, beverage, general merchandise, underwear, accessory, and interior shops. This space demonstrates that, like large supermarkets, markets also need to be clean and systematically managed.
