Why travelers stop here
Naruteo Charcoal Grilled Eel is a tidal flat eel specialty restaurant located at the entrance of Ganghwa Bridge. It is certified as a century-old store by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. When grilling eel over charcoal, they sprinkle lotus root powder brought from Seonwonsa Temple in Ganghwa Island to eliminate the unique fishy smell of eel and aid digestion. Thanks to this, it is said that you can enjoy the natural taste of tidal flat eel even with just ginger. A variety of side dishes are provided, including yam, chives, turnip kimchi, pancakes, boiled shrimp, fried eel bones, jeonggwa, rice cakes, and yanggaeng, filling the table without any empty space, and refills are available.
