Mui Forest

Mui Forest is a large cafe located in Ohak-dong, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Operated by the Purme Foundation, Mui Forest was started with the aim of creating jobs for young people with developmental disabilities and building a community without boundaries between disabled and non-disabled people. It also pursues a community that shares the value of Mui (無異, meaning 'no difference') as people from diverse backgrounds meet and harmonize through culture and art via communication with the local community. The cafe building and the wide lawn extending to the entrance are very large and grand. There are various seating options, and the second floor has separate rooms, making it good for group gatherings such as meetings or study groups. There are also many books donated by domestic publishers, making it a good place for reading. For Americano, you can choose the coffee beans according to your preference, and the Mui Forest Latte has a cream latte flavor with unrefined sugar that gives a chewy texture. The cherry tomato juice is a limited-edition menu made by blending tomatoes grown at Purme Social Farm. The grain smoothie is a drink that can replace a meal, with vegan milk and nuts added. The Belgian chocolate latte has chocolate powder and chocolate bits that are chewy, sweet, and rich. The bread is also baked in-house, making it delicious and fresh. Mui Forest has a separate area where dogs are allowed. Within 6 km, there are Dalmatgwangjang (Moonlight Plaza), Yeongwollu, Sejong Forest Bathing Area, and Geumeunmorae Riverside Park.
