Why travelers stop here
Donggurae Village, named after the Korean word 'donggeuran' (round), symbolizes the seeds and flowers that are the beginning of all things. The village is so full of beautifully blooming flowers that the flowers themselves are said to be the masters of the village. Spanning approximately 1,000 pyeong, the wildflower garden features over 50 species of native wildflowers, including Adonis amurensis, Dicentra spectabilis, Aquilegia flabellata, and Campanula punctata. It plays a significant role in preserving and propagating the seeds of Korea's native wildflowers.
