Sutasa Valley is located about 10km east of Hongcheon-eup, where the upper stream of Deokji Stream flowing down from Gongjaksan Mountain forms a valley. It is called Sutasa Valley because Sutasa Temple is located within the valley. Stretching about 12km from Sutasa Temple to Nocheon-ri, Dong-myeon, the valley features wide rock surfaces and large pools that create scenic beauty, allowing visitors to rest and enjoy the surrounding landscape. On both sides of the valley, one can see rugged cliffs and dense forests standing guard.
