Dongsanpo Beach

Located north of Dongsan Port, just over one hill. The sandy beach is 800m long and about 50m wide, with fine, soft, and clean sand. The water at Dongsanpo Beach is shallow enough that even 20m out, the water only reaches your knees or thighs, and lifeguards are on duty, making it popular with families. Swimming and surfing zones are separated, allowing for a comfortable and safe water experience. Operated by Dongsan-ri village, this beach has a traditional fishing village right in front, so fresh raw fish is easily available, and sea fishing is also possible. Camping is allowed on the sandy beach, with space for about 300 tents. Additionally, there are coastal rocks near the beach, making it a renowned spot for skin scuba diving.
