Dongsan Beach

Dongsan Beach is located between Bukbun-ri Beach and Dongsanpo Hang Beach in Yangyang-gun. It is called 'Korea's No. 1 Surfing Spot' due to its suitable water depth and high waves, making it ideal for surfing. It opens as a beach every year from July to August, and is well equipped with convenience facilities for vacationers, including showers, restrooms, water dispensers, and a campsite. Around the beach, there are many accommodations such as pensions and guesthouses, as well as restaurants, cafes, and raw fish restaurants, attracting many tourists. In addition, the view of Jukdo Island over the open sea is superb. Nearby attractions include Yangyang Jukdo Auto Camping Site, Jukdo Beach, and Jukdojeong Pavilion.
