Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Since 2010, San Yakcho Village has been established on the Bongori site in Sangseo-myeon, featuring a forest bathing area and experience facilities such as a medicinal herb cultivation complex, walking trails, tech roads, and herb exploration paths. An aroma trail for healing and a herb exploration path planted with over 100 types of herbs have been created, allowing visitors to relieve physical and mental fatigue and enjoy quality time with family tourists. For visitor convenience, informational signs explaining the efficacy of medicinal herbs have been installed, and a 3km hiking trail toward Biraebawi Rock has been opened for those who enjoy hiking. Additionally, a therapy center is operated where visitors can experience medicinal herb cultivation, half-body baths, foot baths, sitz baths, and sauna treatments. The village has become an even more popular tourist destination after being featured on broadcast programs.
