Why travelers stop here
During the Joseon Dynasty, when a prince or princess was born, the placenta was buried in a auspicious site on a famous mountain with the wish for a long life. The place where the placenta was buried was called Taebong. The Wangnyeo Bokran Taesilbi in Taejang-dong is located within the Woo Sung 2nd Apartment complex in Taejang 2-dong. It was dismantled during the construction of the apartment and then restored. At that time, 24 artifacts including earthenware, white porcelain, and stone boxes were excavated together, and the placenta jar and placenta case were moved to the Dongguk University Museum for preservation.
