Manggyeongsansa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism is a temple located in a pristine area at an altitude of 800m at the foot of Manggyeongdaesan Mountain in Kimsatgat-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do. It is adorned with over 200 types of wild herbs and medicinal plants, resembling a specialized farm in terms of variety and scale, and is famously known as a natural museum of wild herbs. It is a temple with beautiful scenery in a clean highland area. Manggyeongsansa Temple operates a Templestay program where visitors can stay at a Korean temple and experience the traditional culture of Korean Buddhism, the spirit of practice, cultural and tourism resources inside and outside the temple, the natural environment, and the daily life of the temple.
