Jipdarigol Natural Recreation Forest

Jipdarigol Natural Recreation Forest is located in a valley carved by a stream originating between Eungbong (1,436m) and Chukdaebong (1,125m) on the slopes of Hwaaksan Mountain (1,468m) near Chuncheon, flowing into Chuncheon Lake. It features clear, abundant water year-round, a valley with majestic rocks, and a natural deciduous primeval forest. The distinct seasonal changes bring dense greenery and spring flowers in spring, coolness in the valley even in midsummer (where staying for over 10 minutes can make you feel cold), colorful autumn foliage, and beautiful snowy scenery in winter. The natural primeval forest is home to rare wildflowers and trees, and with fresh air and clean water, it is a pristine natural treasure where squirrels and red squirrels frequently cross the roads.
