Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
A multi-purpose experiential learning space located at the foot of Sabsang Mountain in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, where visitors can enjoy seasonal themes. The village has been known since ancient times as a deep mountain valley with abundant grass for feeding cattle, which is how the village name 'Soegol' and the name of this experiential farm originated. Along with nature-based experiential learning, seasonal programs are operated differently, and various folk games can be enjoyed.
At Soegol Village, which offers a variety of experiences, spring activities include planting herb pots, traditional and folk games, rafting, and riding a can train; summer activities include catching loaches and enjoying water play such as free banana boats in the swimming pool—the pool also allows cooking, making it an ideal summer resort; autumn activities include harvesting pears and sweet potatoes; and winter activities include sledding on snow and ice, and ice fishing.
