Lake Resort

In the hot summer, everyone seeks cool waters. Lake Resort, located in Myeongji Valley in Gapyeong, close to Seoul, has many nearby lodgings and flat benches, making it suitable for relaxing and enjoying water play. It is fine for a day trip of water fun and also comfortable for enjoying a holiday. The water depth at Lake Resort is a bit deeper near the entrance and becomes shallower toward the downstream, but it is generally about waist-deep for an adult and quite wide, so it will be safe to ride a tube or wear a life jacket while playing in the water. The stream water is rather cold, and there are shaded areas beside the stream, so you can float on a tube in the water and rest in the shade. Parking is available at accommodations along the stream, and life jackets, tubes, boats, and snorkeling equipment can be rented. You can cook food you brought at places with flat benches near the valley, or order dishes like boiled chicken. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, making it great for taking pretty photos.
