Wangteo Resort

Wangteo Resort is located in Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. It is about a 10-minute drive from the Gangchon IC on the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway toward Magok and the Uiam Yu In-seok Historic Site. The resort operates 24 caravans and villas against the backdrop of the Hongcheon River. There are 4 caravans for 6 people and 20 caravans for 4 people, each equipped with beds, heating and air conditioning, a sink, refrigerator, TV, cooking utensils, dishes, toilet, and washbasin. There are no shower facilities inside the caravans, so guests must use the communal shower room. The outdoor deck of each caravan has a table and chairs under a Mongolian tent-style awning. The villas also have rooms available, each equipped with ondol heating, beds, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, a bathroom with shower, dining table, kitchen, and utensils, catering to guests seeking a comfortable stay. To use the barbecue facilities, guests must pay a fee and order a charcoal set, which includes charcoal, a grill, gloves, tongs, and instant charcoal. Outside visitors are not allowed. On-site facilities include a water ski park, swimming pool, restaurant, café, and the Cheongpyeong Ferry boarding dock. Water skiing requires an additional fee.
