Magok Recreation Area is a riverside area created in Magok-ri, Seo-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, where the Hongcheon River meets the Bukhan River. It is a popular camping spot in Hongcheon, featuring clear water, a wide sandy beach along the riverbank, and shady trees surrounding the beach. Located downstream from Mogok Recreation Area, the water is deep, making it suitable for windsurfing, motorboating, and water skiing. Many people also come to fish along the river, and cruise boats operate from the Cheongpyeong Lake dock to the Magok riverside, allowing visitors to enjoy the excellent scenery while traveling upstream.
