Danpungsan Mountain in Yeongwol, at an elevation of 1,150m, is located near Jikdongcheon Stream and Okdongcheon Stream, which flow southwest from Baegunsan Mountain on the ridge extending west from Hambaeksan Mountain. The southern side is a cliff, offering excellent views and beautiful scenery. On Danpungsan Mountain, you can observe various wildflowers. In summer, flowers such as trailing azalea, winter hazel, and hairy lily bloom in many places. The course passing through Danpungsan Mountain can also go via Solgogae Myeongpum Pine and Maebongsan Mountain.
