Imdang Life Culture Center

Located in Imdang-dong, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, the Imdang Life Culture Center was established to revitalize life culture clubs and build a network of life culture facilities, serving as a space for small group meetings and club activities for Gangneung citizens. It is a space for communication and exchange aimed at restoring a healthy and vibrant local cultural community. It is openly available for small group meetings and club activities, contributing to the activation of life culture clubs and the formation of a network of life culture facilities. The building has four floors above ground with a total floor area of 939.24㎡. The first floor is used for talk concerts and small craft exhibitions; the second and fourth floors consist of club rooms, sarangbang (traditional living room), meeting rooms, and community craft workshops; the third floor is primarily used for exhibitions, including paintings, installations, and bazaars. The Imdang Life Culture Center is managed and operated by the Gangneung Cultural Foundation. Rental applications can be made through online advance reservation or offline application. Rental spaces include the sarangbang, meeting rooms, club rooms, and community craft workshops, and use is permitted after internal review by the management office.
