Munamhang Port

Upon entering Munamhang Port, the first things that catch the eye are a white lighthouse and a red lighthouse. The breakwater stretching all the way to these lighthouses offers the mysterious pleasure of strolling toward the end of the sea. In the small but neatly maintained port, white buildings bearing the names of each boat draw attention. Along with the net mending and storage area, these buildings are operated as restrooms where those who enjoy boat fishing can eat raw fish. Munamhang Port is a port famous for flounder boat fishing. The rocky area called Neungpadae, located just behind Munamhang Port, harmonizes with the sea to create a beautiful landscape. It is said that the name Neungpadae was given by a Mr. Lee who came as the governor of Gangwon Province, after seeing the beautiful sight of waves crashing against the rocks. The rocks are twisted in various directions, and the hollow holes here and there create a unique landscape that feels like being on an alien planet.
